Our mission is to cover news related to lacrosse in Minnesota. With coverage of this amazing sport, we hope to help lacrosse grow in our home state. We strive to share inspiring stories and highlight our local lacrosse stars.

Emily Vojtech

Founder and Editor

BIO: Emily played lacrosse for 13 years. She played from youth through college. She played high school at Spring Lake Park, where she was a five time letter award winner and team captain. She was recruited to play on the first NCAA lacrosse team in Minnesota at Augsburg University, and she was the first person from the Spring Lake Park Girls Lacrosse program to play in the NCAA. She went on to finish her playing career at the University of Northwestern St. Paul, where she served as team captain. Emily has coached lacrosse for over 10 years. In 2019, she was named Section 6 Head Coach of the Year. She is now Head Girls Lacrosse Coach for the Westonka High School Lacrosse program.

BIO: Ryan played lacrosse for two years and graduated from St. Paul Central High School. Ryan is a big fan of lacrosse and works to grow the Minnesota Lacrosse Magazine brand. He also manages our X account.
